The Gallery

The gallery was designed by architect John Prizeman and Richard Daniels Design and was specially constructed by Sir Robert McAlpine in 1990 to provide a tapestry gallery and a carpet and textile viewing gallery.  The premises are air conditioned with climate controlled storage areas.  The gallery is also home to the Franses Archive and Library.
