Cotton

Cotton has a very different texture from wool, takes colored dyes with a different effect and has a brighter lighter white. It is often used as a highlight in wool carpets where it creates a subtle contrast. India is renowned for its geometric summer carpets and playful flatwoven dhurries woven in crisp cotton.
